Allover Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) - Frequently Asked Questions

Allover Healthcare Group provides psychiatric rehabilitation services for adults and minors with mental illness. We currently provide services for adults and minors who live throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore - Washington Area.
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program at Allover Healthcare Group works to assist adults and minors with severe mental illness to reach a higher level of independence. The PRP program assists consumers with accessing and coordinating services and resources in their communities and works to ensure that the consumer has access to the best possible treatment. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Aides provide services within the home and the community. Our Aides assist the consumer with learning and developing improved daily living skills (i.e. personal hygiene, organizational skills, time management skills, nutrition, and money management), as well as working towards achieving healthy coping mechanisms.
Yes, Allover Healthcare Group operates day programs at our Baltimore City office. The PRP Day Program provides consumers with various therapeutic, educational and recreational activities within a group setting.
For PRP services, the consumer should have Medical Assistance (MA), Primary Adult Care (PAC), or Employed Individuals with Disabilities (EID) benefits.
Consumers are authorized for three to six months of PRP services. Near the end of each authorization period, goals can be re-examined and Allover Healthcare Group can request additional periods of service.
  • Security card, Identification Card and/or Birth Certificate
  • Maryland Medicaid Card and any other insurance cards, including Medicare
  • Name, Address and Phone Number of current or former Therapist, Psychiatrist and Medical Doctor
  • Current medications
  • Hospitalization records, medical records and any related records.
We attempt to contact a new referral within 48 hours. Once the referral is contacted, we schedule an intake within the next three business days, and proceed with assigning the consumer to an aide within 10 days of the initial referral.
Once a completed referral is made, the consumer will be contacted for an initial intake to determine the appropriates of psychiatric rehabilitation services. Once the intake is complete, an initial treatment plan will be completed with the consumer, who will then begin receiving program services.
Aides typically see consumers twice a week, or a minimum of six times a month.
PRP Aides will meet with consumers anywhere from fifteen minutes to two hours, depending on the goal being addressed. During each visit, the consumer is expected to work towards one or more of the goals set forth in the rehabilitation plan, which is developed at the onset of PRP services.

The Maryland 3-Hour Alcohol and Drug Education Program is MVA Approved program for drivers from another country with driver license from their home countries. This program is an in-classroom course. Please Register online to reserve a seat. The online application will let you know if a space is available for you. You can choose another date if space is not available for your choosen date. You must have your $60 or Money order and A photo ID to take this classroom course and as required by MVA, we need minimum of 3 people to enroll for any class to hold. WE WILL TRANSMIT YOUR INFORMATION TO THE MARYLAND MVA ONCE YOU COMPLETE YOUR FINAL TEST SUCCESSFULLY.
Our computer training program teaches individuals, middle and high school students computer programming skills.We provide an overview of the technical framework of computer science, our Program prepares students for the tech world, and conflict resolution skills. This is Center for Disease Control CDC-recognized lifestyle change T2 Diabetes Prevention Program

To be eligible for CDC-recognized lifestyle change program with us, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years old and
  • Be overweight (body mass index ≥24; ≥22 if Asian) and
  • Have no previous diagnosis of type 1 or type 2 diabetes and
  • Have a blood test result in the prediabetes range within the past year:
    • Hemoglobin A1C: 5.7%–6.4% or
    • Fasting plasma glucose: 100–125 mg/dL or
    • Two-hour plasma glucose (after a 75 gm glucose load): 140–199 mg/dL or
